Otley Children's Centre is a Phase II Children's Centre built on the Ashfield Primary School site. The building was completed in June 2008 and we have been in operation since that time. The Centre is staffed by a team of 3 people who work alongside other Children's Service agencies in the North-West area of Leeds.
Otley Children’s Centre works alongside the communities of Otley,Pool and Bramhope, aiming to contribute to the commitment of giving every child the best start in life, providing better opportunities for families, access to affordable and good quality childcare and a stronger and safer community . Staff are committed to working towards a future where all children and young people within Otley, and the wider community, are able to realise their potential and are happy and fulfilled, both individually and as contributing members of society.
Otley Children's Centre believes that every child really does matter and is dedicated to providing a programme based on the principle that, providing access to integrated education, care, family support and health services, is a key factor in determining outcomes for children and families. We will provide a menu of activities such as Parent and Toddler Groups, Adult Education Classes, Links with Job Centre Plus and Children’s Information Services, advice regarding childcare options, and fun activities for children and their parents to join in with, both during term time and in the school holidays. Everyone is welcome and will always receive a cheerful greeting. We will be open 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday 8.00 am until 6.00pm.. For additional information please contact Sharon Calvert on 01943 467 379 The staff from the Children’s Centre are out and about in Otley, Pool and Bramhope giving out further information about the Children’s Centre and how it may be of use to you and your family. We are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible, so look out for us and don’t hesitate to ask us any questions.
